We are currently seeking a General Psychologist to work within our Springwood Office to support participants accessing services via Medicare, NDIS or private health.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Allied Health Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with our healthcare professionals including occupational therapists and psychologists to provide support outlined within treatment plans. Your work will take place in our office locations in Mount Gravatt and Springwood, as well as in the community, including participants’ homes and schools.
Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare professionals in the delivery of treatment plans, including but not limited to psychology, occupational therapy, and social work.
- Provide support to patients during therapy sessions, including setting up equipment, monitoring progress, and providing encouragement.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Communicate effectively with participants, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for participants.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of participant treatment plan.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment, including the proper handling and disposal of medical equipment and supplies.
Qualifications:
- Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a rehabilitation or therapy environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards.
