As our operations continue to grow, we are looking for an organised and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our Toowoomba branch and support our workshop and field service team.
About the Role
The Service Advisor is the key link between our customers, technicians, and parts team.
You will coordinate service jobs, communicate with customers about repairs and timelines, and ensure our technicians are scheduled efficiently so equipment is repaired and returned to service as quickly as possible.
This is a fast-paced role suited to someone who enjoys organisation, customer communication, and working in a mechanical service environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage incoming service enquiries via phone and email
• Schedule and coordinate workshop and field service jobs
• Prepare service quotes and obtain customer approvals
• Open, update and manage service job cards in the system
• Liaise with technicians regarding job progress and repair requirements
• Order parts required for service and repair work
• Keep customers updated on job progress and timelines
• Assist with service administration and invoicing
• Maintain strong customer relationships through professional service
Skills & Experience
• Previous experience in a Service Advisor, Service Coordinator, or Workshop Administration role
• Experience in automotive, transport, heavy machinery, or mechanical industries is highly regarded
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to manage multiple jobs and priorities in a busy workshop environment
• Good computer skills and experience with service or job management systems
• Basic mechanical knowledge or understanding of equipment servicing is advantageous
