About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Forklift Parts Supervisor / Interpreter to lead our Brisbane parts department. In this role, you will supervise a small team, manage parts operations, and support both internal and external customers with accurate parts interpretation and supply. You will also play a key role in developing and growing external parts sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a team of three parts staff, ensuring efficient daily operations

• Interpret forklift parts requirements for internal service teams and external customers

• Provide high-level customer service and technical parts advice

• Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers, while identifying opportunities to grow external parts sales

• Manage parts inventory, ordering, and stock control

• Ensure accurate processing of parts orders, quotes, and invoices

• Work closely with the service department to support workshop and field technicians

• Maintain supplier relationships and ensure timely parts availability

• Monitor team performance and support staff development

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in forklift, machinery, automotive, or equipment parts interpretation

• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred

• Strong knowledge of parts catalogues, systems, and inventory management

• Proven ability to develop customer relationships and generate sales

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail

• Ability to work collaboratively with both internal teams and external customers
