Our fast-growing, innovative company operates in six locations around the country with over 1,000 of quality new and used forklifts for sale and hire fleet approaching 4000 units.
Due to significant business growth, we are now looking for a Toowoomba Branch Supervisor to oversee and support the service team.
About the Role:
The role is primarily focused on supporting the day-to-day operation of the Branch and there will be a need to roll your sleeves up and “get the job done” from time to time.
Reporting directly to the QLD Operations Manager, this role is responsible for providing strong leadership and direction to our workshop and field staff, ensuring all equipment is repaired, serviced, and maintained on time and in line with business requirements. You have the opportunity to make the role your own! Outline of the position is:
Take incoming calls and raise jobs
Review open jobs and invoicing
Monitor WIP
Monitoring hire fleet servicing
Approve Timesheets
Carry out Warranty claims on New & Used Equipment
Drive continuous improvement in service processes and customer experience
Provide mentoring and assistance to all field/workshop personnel, ensuring they have the tools and ability to succeed in their role
Recruit, onboard and retain technical staff within the team
Oversee all retail jobs and ensure all items are booked out in accordance with the processes and systems in place
Provide technical advice and support to the service team
Meeting local customer requirements
Monitoring and maintaining a safe workplace in accordance with OH&S requirements.
What you will need to be successful:

Strong Administration and organizational skills

Baseplan Operating System Knowledge would be highly desirable.

A commitment to workplace safety and have a sound knowledge of current OH&S practices and standards.

Ability to work to deadlines and meet key performance indicators

Forklift industry knowledge and experience including a good understanding of, diagnostic and preventative maintenance needs would be preferred.
General Rental Industry Experience.
