The Role

As an Operations Support Officer, you’ll play a key customer‑facing role supporting clubs, participants, parents, and internal Football West teams. You’ll assist with enquiries, registrations, logistics, event delivery and more, helping us to ensure football across WA runs smoothly and professionally. In addition, you will;

  • Respond to and log, customer enquiries via phone and email, recording interactions in the CRM
  • Support competition administration including registrations, fixturing, invoicing, team allocations, results and disciplinaries
  • Provide guidance on competition rules and policies
  • Assist with logistics for programs, events, courses, and state/representative teams
  • Book venues, coordinate volunteers, arrange equipment and support event‑day operations
  • Troubleshoot customer issues and escalate when required
  • Contribute to continuous improvement within the Operations Support Team

About You

We’re looking for someone who is proactive, organised and passionate about delivering great experiences in community sport and working as a team. In addition, you will also possess the following;

  • Prior experience in customer service or operational support
  • Strong communication, administrative and organisational skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and work to tight timeframes
  • Confident phone manner and professional email communication
  • Ability to interpret rules, policies and regulatory documents
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Desirable: experience in events, logistics, travel coordination, volunteer coordination, or competition management systems
  • Holds (or able to obtain) a Working With Children Check.
  • Able to work evenings and weekends as required.
