The Role
We’re seeking a Disciplinary & Grievance Officer to join our Disciplinary & Grievance Team in a full-time, permanent capacity working Monday to Friday. Reporting into our Integrity and Governance Manager, you will support in managing football related grievances and disputes process, including investigation, formulation of response and coordination of the Football West Tribunal.
Working closely with the General Manager of Football, Competitions and Clubs Manager and Operations Support Team, you will be required to action the following.
- Handle and investigate football-related grievances and disputes, ensuring timely and comprehensive resolutions.
- Assist in the enforcement of competition rules and regulations, including the issuance of Disciplinary Infringement Notices
- Provide support to the Football West Tribunal, coordinating the referral and administration of tribunal matters.
- Collaborate in drafting and reviewing competition rules and disciplinary regulations.
- Identify risks associated with non-compliance and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
About You
Given the nature of this role, integrity is everything! In addition, we are looking for someone who possess the following skills and attributes.
- Prior experience in Sports Law or disciplinary processes within a sports or legal setting.
- Possesses strong skills in mediation and conflict resolution.
- Is adept at managing sensitive issues with professionalism and tact.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and takes pride in their work.
