We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our Sydney team helping sell our leading software solution to hospitality businesses.

Reporting to the Territory Sales Manager you’ll generate leads, pitch them on the FoodByUs platform, explain the benefits of moving to an efficient online order management system, run price comparisons, and ultimately get venues to order everything through FoodByUs – all while working within our uncapped commission structure!!

Key responsibilities

  • Identify new buyers, and hospitality businesses (cafes, restaurants, bars, clubs, pubs, etc) that would benefit from utilising FoodByUs’ platform as their primary ordering system (we also have an extensive database of existing leads).
  • Develop and implement effective business development strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on business development activities, sales pipelines, and progress towards targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, understanding their requirements and providing tailored solutions.

Your experience

  • Demonstrated experience as a Business Development Manager/ Sales professional
  • You will be a proven hunter who is not afraid to cold call and utilise your networks
  • Skilled in communication and negotiation, with a knack for closing deals
  • Self-starter, and commercially savvy where you possess the ability to excel in both a team-based and autonomous environment.
  • Knowledge of the hospitality/ F&B industry is highly desirable but not essential
