Financial Accountant

About the Role

Our Group is seeking a Financial Accountant to oversee financial operations, work with a small finance team and provide financial insights across our group of businesses.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on financial accountant to manage underlying business transactions, financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance while continuously improving financial processes.

As the Financial Accountant, you will work closely with both the internal and external advisors to ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.

You’ll work with General Managers, providing financial insights to support decision-making and drive growth in line with the wider business strategy.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Delivering financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting to support business strategy.

• Implementing and improving financial processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

• Ensuring compliance with regulatory and tax obligations.

• Providing proactive financial analysis to assist senior leadership in making informed decisions.

• Collaborating with external advisors and stakeholders to optimise financial performance.

What We’re Looking For

• High attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.

• Strong communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce, with CA or CPA qualification.

• Proven experience in financial accountancy, reporting, and business analysis.

• A track record of developing financial systems and streamlining processes.

• Desire to work towards enhancing leadership skills and motivating an existing team.
