The Role:
We’re looking for our first Salesforce Platform Lead to help drive the roadmap scale Fitness Passports CRM journey.
This role is responsible for the day-to-day administration, support, and continuous improvement of the Salesforce platform. You will ensure Salesforce is stable, secure, well-configured, and aligned to business processes, while providing L1–L2 support to internal users. The role also acts as a key liaison between business stakeholders, delivery partners, and the broader technology team to support enhancements, integrations, and platform optimisation.
What you will be doing:
- Administer Salesforce environments including user setup, profiles, permission sets, roles, and security controls.
- Configure and maintain Salesforce objects, fields, validation rules, flows, page layouts, record types, and reports.
- Own and maintain the Salesforce platform roadmap, aligned to business priorities and technology strategy.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve sales, marketing, and operational workflows through Salesforce features, automation, and configuration.
- Assess new Salesforce capabilities and releases and determine their applicability and value to the organisation.
- Prioritise enhancements, technical improvements, and automation initiatives based on business impact and effort.
- Drive delivery of roadmap initiatives from idea through to implementation and adoption.
- Provide day-to-day Salesforce support to internal users, resolving issues and answering usage questions.
- Act as the primary Salesforce support liaison between business teams, technology, and delivery partners.
- Support Salesforce releases including testing, deployment coordination, and release communications.
- Assist with platform enhancements, integrations, and automation initiatives.
- Ensure Salesforce security best practices are followed, including least-privilege access and data protection controls.
About You:
- Certificate IV, Diploma, or Degree in Information Technology, Business Systems, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Salesforce Administrator Certification.
- 2–4+ years’ experience as a Salesforce Administrator, CRM Administrator, or similar role.
- Hands-on experience administering Salesforce (Sales Cloud and Service Cloud experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of Salesforce security, profiles, permission sets, and data access.
- Experience creating reports, dashboards, and basic automations (Flows).
- Experience providing L1–L2 Salesforce support to business users.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to translate business needs into practical Salesforce solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated experience delivering Salesforce enhancements that improved business outcomes.
- Ability to think beyond administration and maintenance to identify value-adding opportunities.
- Experience owning or contributing to a platform roadmap or continuous improvement backlog.
- Strong stakeholder influencing skills and ability to challenge “how things have always been done”.
