The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Car Park Cleaner to join our dynamic team in Sydney CBD. As a vital member of our organisation, you’ll contribute to the presentation and upkeep of our car park facilities while providing exceptional service to our valued customers.
This diverse role encompasses daily cleaning, equipment maintenance, and occasional ad hoc tasks such as painting and signage installation.
Key Responsibilities
Cleanliness & Maintenance
- Carry out daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, rubbish removal, and tidying parking areas.
- Cleaning ticket machines and boom gates
- Maintain consistently high standards of cleanliness across the facility.
- Conduct inspections to identify maintenance or safety issues and escalate promptly to your manager.
Equipment Monitoring & Upkeep
- Perform routine checks on ticket machines, barriers, and lighting.
- Complete weekly safety checks via IAuditor reporting system.
- Report and resolve equipment issues to minimise service disruptions.
- Provide professional, friendly support to customers with enquiries or concerns.
- Act as a visible and approachable presence in the car park.
Additional Duties
- Assist with maintenance ad hoc tasks such as painting curbs, installing signage, and general facility improvements
Requirements
- FULL NSW Drivers License
- Australian permanent resident
- Competent with technology and computer systems
- Previous cleaning, maintenance and customer service experience.
- Reliable and proactive with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays.
Shifts (Sydney)
- Monday to Friday shifts (anytime between 7 am to 7 pm)
