Fire and Safety Australia is currently seeking experienced Medical Emergency Officers to support our contracts across South Australia.
As our operations continue to grow, we are looking for flexible team members who are willing to work across multiple sites throughout the region. While shift allocation may vary, you can expect up to 14 shifts per month.
Ideally, candidates will be based in South Australia or have the ability to travel at short notice.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide emergency medical care and respond to onsite incidents
- Attend fire, rescue, and other emergency situations
- Maintain emergency equipment and medical supplies
- Deliver training
- Conduct site inspections and support risk mitigation
- Complete incident reports and treatment documentation
- Work both independently and within a team environment
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Certificate III in Mine Emergency Response and Rescue – Including Vertical and Confined Space Rescue
- Minimum of Cert IV Health Care (Ambulance) HLT41115 or higher
- Available for immediate start
- Current Collect Specimens
- Current MR/HR Drivers Licence
- Current CPR (1 year) and First Aid (3 years)
- Current Police Clearance (No older than a year)
- Ability to work solo with a minimum of 2 year’s experience on a mine site in a similar role
