PSYCHOLOGIST / BEHAVIOUR SUPPORT PRACTITIONER

ROLE REQUIREMENTS :
- Relevant qualification, such as Psychology or Masters of Behaviour,
- Registration with AHPRA or similar,
- Experience in and passion for the Disability and Community Services sectors,
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
- Creative problem-solving skills,
- Understand and maintain informed of evidence based best practice,
- Excellent organisational and time management skills,
- Ability to create and maintain lasting professional relationships,
- Caring, empathic, and understanding nature,
- Positive and energetic team member,
- A strong sense of professional boundaries and integrity,
- Brisbane based home to work and travel from,
- Autonomous and preference for working from home and community,
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence and access to registered and insured vehicle,
KEY DUTIES
- Client assessments, including descriptive, cognitive and functional need,
- Written clinical reports,
- Develop and implement behaviour support plans,
- Training support teams,
- Counselling and therapeutic intervention.
