PSYCHOLOGIST / BEHAVIOUR SUPPORT PRACTITIONER

We are looking for a highly motivated clinician that thrives on working independently and implementing new ideas. Opportunity to work in a creative, supportive and passionate team dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and families. Work from home – travel to clients around local Brisbane community.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS :

  • Relevant qualification, such as Psychology or Masters of Behaviour,
  • Registration with AHPRA or similar,
  • Experience in and passion for the Disability and Community Services sectors,
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
  • Creative problem-solving skills,
  • Understand and maintain informed of evidence based best practice,
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills,
  • Ability to create and maintain lasting professional relationships,
  • Caring, empathic, and understanding nature,
  • Positive and energetic team member,
  • A strong sense of professional boundaries and integrity,
  • Brisbane based home to work and travel from,
  • Autonomous and preference for working from home and community,
  • Current Australian Driver’s Licence and access to registered and insured vehicle,

KEY DUTIES

  • Client assessments, including descriptive, cognitive and functional need,
  • Written clinical reports,
  • Develop and implement behaviour support plans,
  • Training support teams,
  • Counselling and therapeutic intervention.
