Summary:

The main purpose of the role is to provide support to the Finance department ensuring all accounts payables and receivables functions are managed effectively and in a timely manner. This role will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records in compliance with company policies and procedures and legislative requirements. This role will also collaborate with the teams to support both internal and external stakeholders and the broader business.

Responsibilities:

  • Process, manage and upload accounts payable invoices; ensure all transactions are processed accurately and efficiently with approval and supporting documentation
  • Reconcile supplier statements, identify and resolve any discrepancies
  • Credit cards reconciliation
  • Prepare and upload payment runs
  • Maintaining accurate customer records, reconciliation of accounts and handling customer inquiries for invoices, credit claims and account statements
  • Rebates checking and processing
  • Credit management including customer credit limit and terms review, maintenance and updates
  • Monitor outstanding receivables, follow up with overdue accounts
  • Weekly debtor reporting to management
  • Intercompany transactions processing and reconciliation
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Support cashflow management and reporting
  • Assist internal/external accountant with tax requirements
  • Assist with month end closing and financial reporting
  • Assist with audit
  • Ad-hoc finance and administration tasks as required
  • Credit management and credit software management

Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualification and knowledge in accounting, finance or related field
  • 5 years’ experience with accounts receivable and accounting
  • Confident to process transactions under different entities and currencies
  • Experience and knowledge with ERP system Oracle Netsuite/SAP is an advantage, but not essential
  • Proactive and strong team player
  • Confident communicator with strong problem-solving skills
  • Attention to details and accuracy, strong time management to meet deadlines
  • Adaptive, committed to quality assurance and continuous improvement
