The main purpose of the role is to provide support to the Finance department in delivering day to day accounting responsibilities in a timely manner. This role will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records in compliance with company policies and procedures and legislative requirements. This role will also collaborate with other departmental teams to support both internal and external stakeholders and the broader business

Key responsibilities

Manage accounts payable duties including processing invoices, vendor maintenance, reconciling credit cards and preparing payment runs

Support accounts receivable duties including invoicing, payment allocation and account reconciliation

Customer credit claims checking and processing

Handle inquiries from both external and internal stakeholders regarding accounting matters

Intercompany transactions processing and reconciliation

Bank reconciliation

Support cashflow management and reporting

Assist internal/external accountants with tax compliance and reporting requirements

Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting

Assist with audit

Ad-hoc finance and administration tasks as required

About you

The successful candidate will have the following experience, skills and attributes:

Relevant qualification and knowledge in accounting, finance or related field

5 years’ experience with accounting and administration

Confident to process transactions under different entities and currencies

Experience and knowledge with ERP system Oracle Netsuite/SAP is an advantage

Proactive and strong team player

Confident communicator with strong problem-solving skills

Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with excellent time management skills to meet deadlines

Adaptive, committed to quality assurance and continuous improvement
