One of our recent, exciting projects has brought about a need for a Works Inspector to act as a key resource at the heart of site operations. You will be responsible for providing timely and quality technical expertise and advice, ensuring the early works contractor compliance is in line with relevant specifications and project compliance. This new opportunity will be an essential role to help shape a new exceptional space where people live and work.

What will you be doing?
- Conduct regular inspections of allocated project construction works, including demolition, building construction, earthworks, plumbing and drainage, electrical and communication and any other construction works
- Ensure compliance with records, specifications, building regulations and quality standards
- Maintain daily site inspection records and provide regular reports
- Identify defects early and work collaboratively to resolve issues efficiently
- Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, consultants and project managers
- Champion health and safety best practice on site
- Support successful project delivery from groundworks through to handover
What experience do you bring?
- Alignment with our core values
- Trade certificates or equivalent from a Registered Training Organisation RTO relating to Building Construction Works
- Building construction trade experience as a Carpenter or Builder or Qualified Structural Engineer or Tertiary Qualified Construction Manager / Building Professional
- Experience in Quality Assessment reporting and management
- Knowledge of current technical standards and guidelines relating to Building Construction including the NCC National Construction Code; Queensland Building Laws and Codes; and the Queensland Development Code
- Excellent stakeholder relationship management skills
- A desire to adhere to industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
