The Opportunity
ERS are building a pool of highly capable professionals who thrive in complex, remote, and high-stakes environments. We are currently looking for committed and motivated Security Officers to join our team providing casual relief and shutdown support across multiple sites across WA.
This casual FIFO opportunity isn’t about filling shifts, it’s about being part of a trusted frontline defence that ensures our clients’ operations remain safe, compliant, and uninterrupted. That’s why ERS builds teams who can spot a risk before it becomes a problem and respond with confidence.
You will be required (but not limited) to:
- Attend to client and visitor needs with exceptional customer service
- Focus on early identification of potential disturbances with the view to de-escalate and contain potential incidents
- Monitor security and alarm systems on a regular basis
- Perform access control
- Maintain records and registers relevant to security and running of building
- Show resilience and the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Liaise and assist police and emergency services when required
- Demonstrate competence in spoken and written English
About you
As an ERS Security Officer, you will possess a strong understanding of security standards, regulations and laws. We also need you to be aware of the sensitivity to cultural differences and demonstrate teamwork when working with our clients, stakeholders, visitors and staff. Eligibility for the role include:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar Security role
- Certificate II in Security Operations
- Valid WA Security Licence & ID
- Current Provide First Aid Certificate and current CPR (within 12 months)
- Current National Police Clearance (no more than 6 months old)
- Current unrestricted Manual Drivers Licence
- Competent in Computer use and an interest security technology
- Excellent customer service
