About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Inventory Coordinator to join our team. This position will play a vital role in keeping stock accurate, pallets moving efficiently, and operations running smoothly across production and distribution.
What you’ll be doing
Inventory Management
Keep accurate records of raw materials, finished goods, and work-in-progress.
Conduct cycle counts and stocktakes, resolving any discrepancies.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment with procurement and production.
Ensure accurate, timely data entry into inventory systems (ERP/WMS).
Pallet Control
Track pallet movements across inbound, storage, and outbound areas.
Monitor usage and quality, reporting any damaged or non-compliant pallets.
Coordinate pallet returns and exchanges with suppliers and customers.
Reduce pallet loss through strong controls and accurate documentation.
Reporting and Compliance
Generate inventory and pallet reports for management and audits.
Ensure compliance with company standards and external regulations related to inventory and pallet handling.
Assist in implementing and maintaining best practices in inventory control and pallet management processes
What you’ll bring
Strong problem-solving skills for stock and inventory issues
Proficiency in Excel, reporting tools, and inventory systems
Experience with stocktakes, reconciliations, and pallet tracking
Effective communication and collaboration skills
Knowledge of workplace safety and compliance standards related to inventory and pallet handling
Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment
2–3 years’ experience in inventory, logistics, or warehouse operations
Forklift Licence (desirable)
Certificate III/IV in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field (preferred)
