Electrician (6 Month Contract)

We are seeking a skilled Electrician for a 6-month contract in our manufacturing facility located in Geebung, Queensland. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient day to day operations of the facility.

What you’ll be doing

• Support the day-to-day operations of the Everhard’s manufacturing and distribution facility
• Servicing and Fault finding in line with Test and Tag standards.
• Read and interpret production plans and Work Instructions (WI)
• Maintain safe, organised work areas and ensure all safety requirements are properly documented and completed.
• Apply and monitor quality control processes to ensure work and products meet required standards
• Identify, report, and manage non-conforming products in line with company procedures.
• Monitor stock levels, obtain pricing for required items, report discrepancies or low stock, and maintain accurate equipment records.
• Work closely with Production Manager and Planning to effectively prioritise.
• Work with Maintenance staff to ensure effective outcomes

What you’ll bring

• Valid Electrical Licence (contractor)
• Forklift license and knowledge of safety regulations (e.g., ISO, OSHA standards). (Desirable)
• First Aid certified (Desirable)
• Good knowledge of Plastic Injection Moulding and equipment used within the processes (Desirable)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Electrician, with at least 2 years in industrial role
• Experience in Haitian and Chen injection moulding machines as well as robotics.(Desirable)
• Proven track record in fault finding systems and work practices.(Desirable)
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and plans
• Effective communication skills
• Intermediate computer and record keeping skills (inventory, QA documentation, etc.) and in in Microsoft Office Suite.
