Cabinetmaker / Shopfitter

Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker / Shopfitter to join our manufacturing team in Virginia, Queensland. This permanent, full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the production of high-quality cabinetry and shop fittings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail and a passion for craftsmanship, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and design.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret and work from technical drawings and specifications to create custom cabinetry and shop fittings.
• Select appropriate materials and tools for each project, ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Assemble and install cabinetry and fittings on-site, ensuring precise measurements and finishes.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure project requirements are met and expectations exceeded.
• Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure it meets company standards.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Cabinetmaker or Shopfitter, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role.
• Trade qualification in Cabinetmaking or a related field is preferred.
• Strong understanding of woodworking techniques and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
