Description

About Eureka

At Eureka, we’re reimagining seniors and all age living. We create communities where people feel at home, places built on respect, connection and belonging.

Our People, Culture & Safety team plays a critical role in bringing the right people into these communities, and we’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist who loves finding great people and making them feel genuinely welcome from day one.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our People, Culture & Safety team, someone who genuinely loves recruitment, believes in the power of getting the right person into the right role, and wants their work to mean something.

This is a standalone role with real scope. You’ll own the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding function for Eureka Villages, partnering with leaders across the business, shaping candidate experience from first impression to first day, and building practices that set us up for the future. You’ll also play a forward-thinking role in how we use artificial intelligence to work smarter, evaluating and embedding AI tools into our recruitment and onboarding workflows in a way that’s practical, ethical, and genuinely useful.

This isn’t a role where you’ll be lost in a crowd. You’ll be seen, trusted, and given the autonomy to make a real mark on how Eureka attracts and welcomes its people.

What You’ll Do

No two days will look the same. You’ll be across:

  • Leading end to end recruitment for roles across all levels and business units, from brief to offer and everything in between.
  • Building genuine relationships with hiring managers, giving them the guidance and structure they need to make great decisions.
  • Owning our onboarding experience, making sure every new starter arrives feeling informed, welcomed, and set up to succeed.
  • Staying curious about emerging tools and practices in talent acquisition, including how AI is reshaping the way we source, screen and onboard.
  • Reducing our reliance on external agencies through smart, direct sourcing strategies.
  • Producing meaningful recruitment data and reporting that helps the business understand where we’re winning and where we can improve.

What You’ll Bring

You’re a recruiter who cares. You take pride in the candidate experience, you build trust quickly with hiring managers, and you hold yourself to a high bar without making it feel heavy.

We’re looking for someone who brings:

  • 3+ years’ end to end recruitment experience, ideally in-house or in a multi-site operational environment.
  • Solid knowledge of Fair Work Act obligations and compliant recruitment practice.
  • Experience with ATS platforms, HRIS systems, and recruitment reporting.
  • Clear, confident communication with candidates, with leaders, and in writing.
  • An interest in how technology and AI tools are evolving in the talent acquisition space.
  • The kind of organisation and self-direction that means things don’t fall through the cracks, even when you’re juggling a lot.
  • A values led approach to work. You want to be somewhere that actually stands for something.

Why Eureka?

We won’t oversell it. What we’ll tell you is that this is a team that shows up for each other, that takes its work seriously without taking itself too seriously, and that genuinely believes the work matters.

  • A standalone role with real autonomy. You’ll own your function, not just assist with it.
  • A values driven culture where respect, inclusion, and belonging aren’t just words on a wall.
  • Access to Sonder for 24/7 medical, safety, and mental health support.
  • A Brisbane-based role with a team that’s genuinely invested in your growth.
