About the Role

Eureka Villages is looking for a dedicated daytime Kitchen Hand to join our team in Rockhampton on a casual basis (approximately 15 hours per week).

This role will prepare and serve nutritious, high‑quality meals for residents, ensuring dietary needs are met while maintaining a safe, efficient kitchen environment.

This role would be required to work two Saturday shifts per month.

Responsibilities include:

  •  Assist with basic food preparation and plating

  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, dishes, and equipment

  • Support cooks and chefs with day‑to‑day kitchen operations

  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace health procedures

About You

  • Proven experience working in kitchens, hospitality, or food preparation environments

  • Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and workplace health standards

  • Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a busy team

  • Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn new skills
