About the Role

Eureka Villages is seeking a Part Time Cook to join our welcoming team at Tamworth. This role is ideal for someone passionate about preparing nutritious, home-style meals and positively contributing to the wellbeing of our residents.

Working 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals while maintaining food safety standards and a clean, efficient kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and serve nutritious, high-quality meals in line with menu requirements and resident dietary needs.
  • Assist with daily kitchen operations including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness in accordance with regulations.
  • Support stock control, including checking deliveries and correct storage of food items.
  • Work collaboratively with village staff to ensure a positive dining experience for residents.

About You

  • Proven culinary experience, with expertise in preparing a variety of dishes and working in fast-paced kitchen environments.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards and kitchen equipment management.
  • A passion for food, with creativity and attention to detail in menu planning, food presentation, and flavour combinations.
  • Ability to satisfy pre-employment checks, including a National Police History Check
