About the Role
Eureka Care Communities is seeking a dedicated Care Worker to join our team in Salisbury on a casual basis. This role plays an important part in supporting the wellbeing and safety of our residents during evening and overnight hours, ensuring high-quality service and a supportive living environment.
This position offers approximately 30 hours per week, with nightshift availability essential. You must be able to work the following shift types:
- 18:30 – 06:30
- 16:00 – 06:00
- 23:00 – 05:30
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day‑to‑day support to residents, ensuring their wellbeing, safety, and comfort throughout the night.
- Assist with daily living activities where required, including evening meals, social support, and morning routines.
- Respond promptly and compassionately to resident needs, incidents, and enquiries overnight.
- Encourage independence while offering respectful and practical assistance.
- Contribute to a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive community environment.
About You
- Experience in aged care, community support, or a similar role (Cert III in Aged Care or equivalent desirable).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive and trusting relationships.
- Empathetic, patient, and respectful in supporting residents’ individual needs.
- Reliable, flexible, and committed to creating and maintaining a safe and caring environment.
- NDIS Clearance required.
