Our beautiful venue is located adjacent to the Ettalong Beach foreshore, overlooking Broken Bay and Lion Island, with Palm Beach a short 30-minute ferry ride away.
We have an amazing opportunity for a talented, hands-on, experienced, and enthusiastic full time Club Supervisor with a strong food and beverage skillset, to join our team. You’ll model professional leadership behaviours, driven by our Club Values of effective leadership, honesty & integrity, listening & collaboration, accountability, positive & passionate culture, and quality in everything that we do.
The roster for this role may include shifts that commence at 7:30am (or prior for conferencing) and may finish at 11:30pm. To commence with, we are focused on securing a team member with a strong Food and Beverage Skillset, who has the drive to develop their skills in Gaming and Reception.
You may be someone currently employed in a smaller venue as a Supervisor, looking for that step up into a large organisation.
About the Role
• Support the Duty Managers.
• Team member supervision.
• Greeting members, guests, and team members with a positive and friendly attitude.
• Completing Club opens, mid-shifts and close shifts.
• Promoting Ettalong Diggers Club facilities; promotions, services, and events.
• Complying with the relevant Acts (Registered Clubs Act; Liquor Act; Food Act and Food Handling; RSA; RCG; ARCG and Gaming Regulations)
• Displaying excellent conflict management skills, with the ability to diffuse and resolve customer complaints.
• Assisting the Duty Managers by ensuring that our entire Club operation runs smoothly each day, including adequate roster covering and replacing leave.
• Maintaining consistently high standards of professional conduct, ethics, and work performance across all aspects of your role.
• Performing any other duties as required by the Management team.
About You
• At least 3 years’ experience as a Supervisor within a Registered Club (highly desirable).
• Certificate IV in Hospitality/Leadership or similar (desirable).
• First Aid and CPR Certifications (or the willingness to obtain).
• Extensive operational experience in Beverage and Catering.
• Gaming and Reception experience is desirable.
• The ability to provide/submit detailed reports as required.
• The ability to develop strong working relationships, whilst at times being a great negotiator.
• You will need to be available from open until close of trade, (inclusive of early mornings, afternoons and evenings/close) 7 days of the week, including ALL public holidays due to the rotation of the roster and business requirements.
• RSA – NSW Competency Card is required prior to commencement.
• RCG – NSW Competency Card is required prior to commencement.
• ARCG – Advanced RCG NSW Competency Card (RGO training)

• You are someone that assist the Duty Manager, holding difficult conversations with team members, and providing reports to HR.
