Enwise Electrical & Refrigeration currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Security and Communications Technician Leading Hand to join our growing team. This role will see you take a lead position on projects across a broad range of security and communications installations and maintenance for domestic, commercial, and industrial clients.
Enwise is locally based and operated in Emerald, Central Queensland. This is a versatile and dynamic role that offers the opportunity to work across a wide range of technologies including CCTV, access control, fibre, Cat6 cabling and AV systems. We’re looking for Full Time Local or DIDO employees to join our team. Relocation packages may be considered for the right applicant.

Your Experience:
- Highly motivated and adaptable qualified Security and Communications Technician with demonstrated leadership experience
- Proven ability to manage and mentor team members on-site
- Strong experience in Cat6 cabling, fibre optic installation/splicing, and fault-finding
- Gallagher Access Control systems with end-user experience (highly regarded)
- Excellent communication, planning and time-management skills
- Strong focus on safety, quality and delivering to deadlines
- Ability to work independently and solve problems in the field
Requirements:
- Open cablers licence
- Full Driver’s Licence
- Certificate III in Telecommunications qualification
- Security System Installer Licence
- A valid Police Check, or willingness to obtain one
- A commitment to upholding company policies, quality standards, and objectives at all levels
Remuneration:
- Competitive remuneration based on experience and qualification/s
- Additional $6 per hour local allowance
- Phone allowance
- Use of a company vehicle
- $10,000 relocation packages available for eligible candidates outside of Emerald
