An open call to people obsessed with AI
This isn’t your typical job ad, and this isn’t a typical role.
We’re building a small, high-impact group inside Employment Hero focused on one thing – using AI to fundamentally change how a business operates at scale.
If you’re already deep in AI (building, experimenting, automating) this is your chance to apply that thinking across an entire company.
You’ll join our Ops Engineering team, a group with a simple mandate – build what scales tomorrow.
In practice, that means
- Finding high-friction, high-impact problems across the business
- Building AI-driven solutions that actually change how work gets done
- Embedding what you build, then moving on to the next challenge
No area is off-limits. You could be working across implementation & onboarding, sales development, finance operations, HR & people operations, product and more.
This isn’t a fixed role – it’s more like a pathway through the business. You’ll start in Ops Engineering, then follow the problems where they matter most.
