Are you an experienced marketing leader who loves building brands, inspiring teams, and delivering campaigns that drive results?

We’re looking for an experienced Head of Marketing – The Coffee Club to lead the planning, delivery and amplification of all marketing and brand initiatives across our national café network and digital channels at an exciting time to join the brand as we continue to roll-out our brand transformation.

This is a 12-month parental leave contract, offering the opportunity to step into a leadership role with ownership, influence and impact from day one.

This role suits a commercially minded marketing leader who can balance creativity and performance while moving seamlessly between planning and execution. You’ll oversee brand, campaigns, digital, loyalty and communications, lead a high-performing team, and partner with stakeholders across product, operations, franchisees and international markets.

What is the role?

Reporting to the General Manager of Marketing & Product, the Head of Marketing is responsible for the planning and execution of all marketing activity across The Coffee Club brand.

You’ll lead the development of the annual promotional strategy, oversee campaign delivery across all channels, guide digital and loyalty growth, protect brand standards nationally and internationally, and ensure marketing initiatives deliver measurable commercial impact.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Leadership & Management

  • Lead, mentor and develop the marketing team, creating a high-performing and accountable culture
  • Drive continuous improvement and establish effective marketing systems and processes
  • Align marketing strategy with business and sales objective.

Brand & Communications

  • Oversee all brand assets and collateral across in-store, digital and promotional channels
  • Support franchise partners and international markets with brand consistency
  • Identify PR and brand amplification opportunities
  • Manage internal and external communications relating to marketing initiatives

Campaigns & Local Store Marketing

  • Plan and execute the 12-month promotional calendar
  • Lead national campaigns from ideation through analysis
  • Partner with product teams on menu innovation and campaign launches
  • Manage agencies and suppliers to ensure strong execution
  • Enable franchisees with effective local store marketing tools and support

Digital & Loyalty

  • Oversee digital marketing strategy across owned and paid channels
  • Support massive initiative to overhaul the current loyalty program

Performance & Commercials

  • Track campaign ROI, brand performance and sales outcomes
  • Manage marketing budgets, forecasting and reporting
  • Prepare insights and presentations for senior leadership

Who are we looking for?

You’re a confident marketing leader who enjoys influencing stakeholders and building teams as much as building campaigns. You understand both brand, creative, campaigns and commercial performance, and you know how to deliver both.

You will bring:

  • 6+ years’ experience in senior marketing, brand or campaign leadership roles
  • Experience managing teams and delivering strategic marketing plans
  • Strong digital marketing knowledge and platform experience
  • Proven stakeholder and agency management experience
  • Excellent project management and communication skills
  • Ability to balance creativity with data-driven decision making
  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business or similar (preferred)
  • Experience in retail, food or franchise environments highly regarded
