What’s the opportunity?

We’re looking for a Casual Café Cook to join our café team, working approximately 25 hours per week.

This role is ideal for someone who loves food, thrives in a fast-paced café environment, and enjoys being part of a supportive, high-performing team. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality dishes that perfectly complement our coffee offering.

Working requirements:

• Availability to work Saturday and Sunday every week

• Availability across 2 weekdays (days to be agreed)

Day to day, you will be:

• Preparing and cooking café-style dishes, including grilling, poaching eggs, and assembling sandwiches

• Maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen station

• Following food safety, hygiene, and workplace health & safety standards

• Assisting with kitchen prep, stock rotation, and general back-of-house support

• Working closely with the café team to ensure smooth service and great customer experiences

What we’re looking for:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a kitchen or similar food preparation role

• Food Safety / Food Handler’s Certificate (or willingness to obtain)

• A genuine passion for delivering consistently great food

• Ability to work efficiently in a busy café environment

• A positive, reliable team player with strong communication skills

• Availability to meet the required weekday + weekend roster
