Here’s how you’ll contribute and have impact:
- You’ll have the space and support to deliver high quality outcomes and the opportunity to innovate and think outside of the box.
- With the support of an in-house historical heritage team, you’ll bring deep technical expertise and strong relationships with state and Commonwealth regulators to a variety of historical heritage projects including major EIS projects, working collaboratively with the Planning and Approvals team and broader technical teams from proposal to delivery stages
- You’ll play an active role in the Heritage leadership team, contributing ideas to help shape the strategic direction of our Historical Heritage solutions. You’ll leverage your trusted client relationships to create opportunities to grow business for the Heritage and broader teams
- You’ll help cultivate innovation and a highly collaborative “one team” culture and provide encouragement, mentorship and opportunities for of early career and experienced historical archaeologists to flourish and contribute You’ll build strong working relationships and develop new technical tools to help shape new ways of working
- You’ll foster homeworking and office collaboration days that provide flexibility and a sense of togetherness
Here’s what you’ll bring to have a positive impact:
- Plenty of passion and drive and living and leading with shared values will be in your DNA
- 8 years plus relevant post graduate experience in Archaeological consulting, leading the design and delivery of Historical Heritage projects including major EIS Projects
- Deep expertise as a lead author for high quality historical heritage assessments and statement
of heritage impact reports
- A solid understanding of NSW historical heritage legislation and management, particularly the
- Heritage Act, 1977
- Previous leadership or coaching and mentoring experience and a passion for developing early career Archaeologists
You’re experienced in contributing to the development and execution of business strategy and planning
- The ability to prioritise, manage and balance your time
- Highly developed project management and project delivery skills
- Have a current/valid unrestricted Australian driver’s license
