Mechanical Assembler

Key responsibilities:

• Assembly of mechanical and electronic modules
• Assembly and testing of high-volume build to print units for production and prototypes

• Basic testing of circuit functionality

• Use hand and power tools to assemble components according to engineering specifications and assembly instructions
• Follow the EM Solutions Quality & WHS Procedures
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of assembly methods and processes

About you:

• Previous experience in mechanical assembly, manufacturing or similar
• Aptitude to work in strict accordance with technical instructions, drawings, documented methods and processes
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Commitment to workplace safety
• Reliable and good time management
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
• Ability to remain standing for prolonged periods

Desirable but not essential:

• Previous experience in mechanical and/or electronics module assembly
• Electronic cable manufacturing experience
• IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, MIL-STD-883 or equivalent certification will be highly regarded
