Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities
- Analyse demand, competitors, and regulations to inform project strategy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess feasibility and viability
- Perform site assessments and feasibility studies to support project development
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and business cases for stakeholders
- Engage with clients, regulators, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment
- Build and maintain relationships with partners and suppliers to enhance collaboration
- Develop market entry and expansion strategies for new projects
- Bid for small or ad-hoc projects to diversify business opportunities
Skills or Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred
- 1+ years’ experience in business development
- Knowledge of Transmission or Distribution Line technologies, processes, and regulations
- Strong analytical skills to build clear and compelling business cases
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey ideas
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for renewable energy and sustainability
