Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities
  • Analyse demand, competitors, and regulations to inform project strategy
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess feasibility and viability
  • Perform site assessments and feasibility studies to support project development
  • Prepare proposals, presentations, and business cases for stakeholders
  • Engage with clients, regulators, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment
  • Build and maintain relationships with partners and suppliers to enhance collaboration
  • Develop market entry and expansion strategies for new projects
  • Bid for small or ad-hoc projects to diversify business opportunities

Skills or Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred
  • 1+ years’ experience in business development
  • Knowledge of Transmission or Distribution Line technologies, processes, and regulations
  • Strong analytical skills to build clear and compelling business cases
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey ideas
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for renewable energy and sustainability
