Power Australia’s clean energy future with Elecnor! As a Bids and Tenders Coordinator for HV Substation Projects, you will play a key role in winning new projects.

You will be actively involved in all aspects of tendering, with a high level of input into tender coordination and presentation, ensuring submissions are high-quality, competitive, and compliant. This role requires strong technical knowledge, commercial awareness, and excellent communication skills.

This is an office-based role located in North Sydney.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Create, review, analyses, and interpret tender documents
  • Collaborate with project teams, estimators, and other departments
  • Contribute to tender strategy, presenting clear technical solutions
  • Identify and assess risks in tenders and recommend mitigation measures
  • Maintain organised tender documentation in folders and portals
  • Provide progress updates, recommendations, and insights throughout the tender
  • Support the estimating team when required
  • Ensure all tender submissions are technically accurate
  • Perform other tasks related to tendering and project bidding as needed

Skills or Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred
  • Proven experience with bids and tenders
  • Strong understanding of industry rules, standards, and best practices
  • Advanced user of estimation software and Microsoft Office
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tender deadlines
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality submissions
