Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Development Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of development projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of developers, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Development Manager will work closely with other departments to ensure that projects align with the company’s strategic goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the development team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure that projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.
• Develop and implement project plans, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of stakeholders.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure that development projects align with the company’s strategic goals and objectives.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with development projects, ensuring that projects are delivered with minimal disruption to the business.
• Manage the development budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, ensuring that the development team is equipped with the latest tools and technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a management role.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS or Azure.
