The Role
We’re looking for a Project Engineer to join our Canberra -based Project Delivery team. Located in Fyshwick.
This is a hands-on role focused on delivering IT projects end-to-end, working closely with internal teams and clients to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
You’ll spend the majority of your time on project delivery, with some involvement in solution design by supporting Pre-Sales with technical input where required.
Please note: some travel may be required on occasion.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver client and internal IT projects in line with agreed scope
- Ensure projects are completed within timeframes and budget
- Communicate clearly with clients and stakeholders throughout delivery
- Identify risks, dependencies, and delays — escalating where required
- Work closely with Pre-Sales, procurement and internal teams
- Maintain accurate project updates, documentation, and status tracking
- Complete onsite and remote implementation tasks as required
- Support solution design with technical input where needed
About You
You’re a detail-oriented and reliable Project Engineer who takes ownership of delivery and prides yourself on getting things done properly.
You’ll bring:
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- A proactive approach to identifying risks and solving problems
- The ability to work independently and use initiative
Technical Experience
You’ll have hands-on experience across:
- Microsoft 365 and modern workplace environments
- Windows Server, Active Directory and Group Policy
- Hybrid Microsoft environments
- VMware and/or Hyper-V
- Networking, internet and infrastructure deployments
- VOIP solutions
Relevant certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, Juniper or similar) are highly regarded, along with MSP experience.
