About the Role
ECA Group is seeking an experienced In‑Country Manager to lead student recruitment and market development activities in Malaysia across our portfolio of Australian education partners.
This is a senior, autonomous role suited to an experienced international recruitment professional who understands the Malaysian market and can build strong agent and stakeholder relationships while delivering sustainable, high‑quality enrolment outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead student recruitment and market development activities across Malaysia.
- Build, manage, and monitor a high‑performing education agent network.
- Represent ECA Group at recruitment events, exhibitions, and institutional engagements.
- Drive lead generation, application conversion, and enrolment outcomes.
- Provide regular recruitment performance reporting and market intelligence.
- Ensure all recruitment activities comply with ESOS requirements and ECA policies.
As the successful candidate you will ideally have:
- Proven experience in international student recruitment, preferably within Malaysia or Southeast Asia.
- Strong agent and stakeholder management experience.
- Solid understanding of the Australian education sector and student visa framework.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑management skills.
- Comfortable working independently in an offshore environment.
Language Skills
• English (required)
• Bahasa Malaysia and/or Mandarin (highly desirable)
