We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Course Development and Quality to be part of our team at Education Centre of Australia.
The role will involve working across ECA’s private higher education institutions: the Asia Pacific International College (APIC), the Higher Education Leadership Institute (HELI) and the College of Health Sciences (CHS).

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the strategic planning, development and optimisation of the course portfolio aligned to organisational growth and market demand
Identify and evaluate new course opportunities in collaboration with academic and professional stakeholders
Oversee best practice course and unit design, ensuring alignment with AQF and academic quality standards
Lead the course development and approval lifecycle, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements (HESF, TEQSA, CRICOS)
Coordinate cross-functional readiness for course launches, including marketing, admissions and systems
Lead and develop the course development team, managing budgets, timelines and capability building
As the successful candidate you will ideally have:
A postgraduate qualification in education or a relevant discipline
Significant experience leading course development within Australian higher education
Strong working knowledge of the Higher Education Standards Framework (Threshold Standards) 2021 and related regulatory requirements
Experience engaging with governance processes, including reporting to Academic Boards or similar committees
Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across academic and operational teams
Experience with TEQSA audits, CRICOS and/or online and blended delivery (desirable)
