We have got an exciting opportunity for an Academic Team Leader to be part of our team at the University of Canberra Sydney Hills in our Castle Hill campus. 

The University of Canberra Sydney Hills focuses on delivering Health and Education courses to students of the local area and abroad. 

As a pivotal member of the academic team, you will have the rewarding opportunity to progress your career within the higher education sector.  We are looking for someone who wants to grow with the company and is self-motivated and an enthusiastic ‘go-getter’. 

Please note, this is not a research position but an academic leadership and quality assurance position strengthening the partnership between ECA and the University of Canberra. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Implementing high-quality, evidence-based teaching and learning practices within the Academic Team 

  • Ensuring full compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements 

  • Promoting a culture of best practice across curriculum and student experience 

  • Strengthening the partnership between ECA and UC. 

As the successful candidate you will ideally have:

 

  • A doctoral qualification in nursing or related field. 

  • Current NMBA registration as a nurse (unconditional). 

  • Knowledge of ANMAC, AHPRA, TEQSA standards and compliance framework. 

  • Proven experience in curriculum design, teaching, and assessment within higher education, with a strong commitment to student learning and academic quality.

  • Demonstrated leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills.
