Software Engineering Manager

About the Role:

We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead our growing team across Australia and the US. You’ll be responsible for managing our software roadmap, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable systems, and maintaining the uptime and security of our mission-critical platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a high-performing, cross-functional software team
• Oversee resource planning, recruitment, training, and performance management
• Drive delivery of high-quality software solutions across AU and US systems
• Ensure uptime, scalability, and security of critical systems and AWS infrastructure
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and agile best practices
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into development tasks

About You:

• Proven leadership experience with remote or offshore teams
• 5+ years’ experience in PHP, JavaScript, MySQL, HTML
• Strong experience with Git, Docker, AWS (EC2, RDS), and Linux
• Skilled in frontend frameworks (e.g. Vue.js) and API integrations
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
