About the role:

The HSQF Governance Specialist supports senior and executive leaders to maintain strong governance, compliance and quality standards across the organisation. The role embeds effective compliance practices through continuous improvement and expert knowledge of HSQF, legislative and funding obligations, working collaboratively with business services, service delivery and clinical teams to maintain inclusive, accessible and current policies, procedures and risk frameworks.

  • Permanent part-time (0.2 FTE)
  • Based in Brisbane City, QLD

Role requirements:

  1. Tertiary qualification in the area of law, public policy, business administration, or a related field. Qualification in social work or behavioural sciences may be considered with relevant experience in compliance and governance.
  2. Demonstrated experience in managing policy and compliance functions, including policy development, audit coordination (internal and external), and risk management practices and functions. Experience in the social and community services sector, or in similarly regulated environments governed by complex legislative and compliance requirements, will be highly regarded.
  3. Experience conducting compliance assessments and audits, including evidence collection, analysis against standards, and preparation of clear, accurate audit reports.
  4. Understanding of current state and federal funding and governance requirements for DFSV and related human services, including the Human Services Quality Framework (HSQF) and the Queensland DFV Practice Standards and Regulations.
  5. Hold a valid (P) BlueCard/WWCC.

  • SCHADS Award Level 7 ($60.27 – $62.79 p/hr) + super.
