The Role
As a Host, you are the go-to person for our guests. From the first hello to the last goodbye, you are there to guide the way.
You make checking in a total breeze and know the best spots for a bite to eat, night on the town, and where to watch the sunrise. A fount of knowledge and a helping hand, you’re there to make the guest experience one to remember.
From time to time, you might be making coffees, turning over rooms, or cleaning up a spill – there’s no egos here, we’re all in this together.
Who We Are Looking For
You are bright, bold and in the know. We value team players who are professional, friendly, and consistent. You work well collaboratively and are happy to take direction but you’re also a go-getter and can see tasks that need completing – you don’t need to wait to be asked.
You’re friendly, approachable and always happy to have a chat with our guests. Having been in the game a while, you know how to impress guests and connect with people from all walks of life. A busy environment doesn’t faze you. You’re adaptable and a natural problem-solver.
You’ll need to be flexible with your hours, including overnight and weekends. Drifter is home to our guests 24/7 and we’re there to support them always.
Previous experience in a hotel or hostel environment will be a big plus – especially if you’ve worked with Mews or similar PMS before.
