About the Role

We are seeking a junior electrical draftsperson to join our growing Team. This role offers hands-on experience in electrical design and production process of switchboards, making it ideal for someone with a technical foundation who is looking to develop a career in the electrical industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with design of detailed drawings using AutoCAD, SolidWorks and other design tools as required.

• Updating existing drawings.

• Preparing documentation for manufacturing and assembly.

• Support senior engineers with project administration, drawing revisions, and client deliverables.

• Support factory floor activities, including checking drawings against physical builds, assisting with design adjustments, and learning hands-on principles of assembly and fabrication.

About You

• Minimum 1 Year AutoCAD experience.

• Basic Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and outlook).

• SolidWorks skills in modelling and preparation of drawings.

• Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

• Willing to Learn and apply new skills.

• Experience in the switchboard industry is advantageous but no essential.

• The role is onsite.

Qualifications

• Completed AutoCAD or equivalent vocational course (please provide certificates with application).
