Join Our Dedicated Clinical Team as a Treatment Room Nurse (RN or EN)

Pay Range: $34–$47 per hour (dependent on qualifications/experience and chosen employment type)
Work in a relaxed coastal setting while making a meaningful impact. Our Yamba clinic is seeking an experienced nurse to support our GPs in the treatment room. You’ll be the heart of our small but committed team, providing everything from immunisations to care plans and urgent support.
About the Role
As part of our Treatment Room team, you will:
- Provide general practice nursing care including immunisations, wound care, ECGs, spirometry and pathology collection
- Support doctors with minor procedures and urgent care
- Assist with chronic disease and preventative health management
- Collaborate with the wider team to ensure efficient and quality patient flow
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Medical Director and Pracsoft
- Champion infection control, cold chain compliance and clinical best practices
What You’ll Need
Essential:
- Current AHPRA registration
- Current CPR certification
- Professional indemnity insurance
- Demonstrated experience in a general practice or primary care setting
- Strong knowledge of immunisation protocols and chronic disease care
- Excellent communication and time management skills
Preferred:
- Familiarity with Medical Director and Pracsoft software
- Experience with Medicare item claiming processes (e.g. GPMPs)
- Ability to work across multiple clinic locations
