Your Role
Reporting to our Director of Revenue, you will hold a key role in gathering critical data for all departments of the clustered hotels including research, forecast preparation and revenue strategy implementation. This is an opportunity for a developing Revenue Manager or Reservations Manager to hone their skills with a very experienced team in an environment where innovation, experimentation and confident strategies are encouraged and celebrated.
Location for the role can be flexible for the right applicant. Ideally, you could be based at the Gold Coast cluster office, on site at either of the hotels (Dorsett Gold Coast or Dorsett Melbourne) or a possible hybrid arrangement.
Your role and responsibilities may include:
- Liaising with key stakeholders within the hotels including Sales and Marketing, Reservations and Hotel Operations teams
- Communicating key event and high demand periods
- Leading or assisting in projects as required
- Attending, contributing in &/or leading any meetings requiring revenue management input
- Reporting on any commercial analysis as required
- Managing pricing and yielding decision in the hotel RMS (IDEAS G3)
- Monitoring and reviewing competitor strategies

- You have a reservations or revenue background within hotels or the travel industry
- You have strong numerical, analytical and computer skills
- You have the ability to prioritise, work under pressure, problem solving and time management skills
- You have an understanding of revenue management principles and practices
- You have an understanding and excellent working knowledge of Excel and other key systems such as Opera Reporting and Analytics, IDEAS and Delphi
- You are a strong communicator and work well in a team environment
- You hold full working rights in Australia (Australian Citizen or Resident)
