The Opportunity:

We’re looking for a Warehouse Dispatch Assistant to join our team and help ensure smooth warehouse and dispatch activities. In this hands-on role, you’ll play a key part in maintaining stock accuracy, ensuring product quality, and meeting customer expectations — all while maintaining strict Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow directions from the Logistics Coordinator to meet customer requirements in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Receive incoming goods — unload trucks, check deliveries against paperwork, and record any damages as per SOPs.
  • Notify QA of any quality issues before accepting deliveries.
  • Maintain stock accuracy and traceability using the MES system.
  • Prepare and dispatch customer orders in line with dispatch reports and customer specifications.
  • Ensure all pallets are labelled and documented correctly, matching packing slips and dispatching details in the system.
  • Load trucks safely and in accordance with inspection and dispatch SOPs.
  • Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment — conduct daily housekeeping, forklift checks, and waste removal.
  • Assist with stock transfers, re-labelling, re-boxing, and re-stacking as required.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse and dispatch functions.
  • Follow all QA, HACCP, and safety policies and procedures.
  • Take reasonable care for your own health and safety and ensure your actions do not adversely affect others.

Experience and Personal Attributes

  • Previous experience in food manufacturing or ingredients warehousing
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office 365 Databases
  • Strong understanding of receival, dispatch, and stock control processes
  • Current Forklift License (Required)
  • Physically fit – comfortable with manual handling and lifting up to 15kg
  • High attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude
  • Proactive team player with a commitment to safety and quality
