Network Engineer – Remote

Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join our IT team in Barangaroo, New South Wales. This contract role is essential for maintaining and optimising our network infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity and performance across our systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network design and implementation, contributing to the overall efficiency and security of our IT operations.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage network solutions to meet business requirements.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate new technologies and improve existing systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role, with a minimum of 3-5 years in network management.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching technologies.
• Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, and security systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with team members.
