🔧About the Role
We are looking for an Electronic Security Technician with 1/3+ years experience or to join our growing team. In this role, you will install, commission, and maintain modern electronic security systems across a range of commercial sites.
You will work with advanced security technologies including:
• CCTV systems (IP and NVR-based)
• Access control systems
• Intercom and video intercom systems
• Intrusion detection systems
• Networked security infrastructure
• Cloud-based security platforms
This role offers a high level of autonomy in the field, while still being supported by a structured operations team that values professionalism, accountability, and quality workmanship.
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in clean installations, accurate documentation, and solving problems properly the first time.
✅ What We’re Looking For
• 1-3+ years experience is ideal but open to entry level.
• Open Cabler Licence
• Experience installing CCTV and access control systems
• Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
• Understanding of IP networking fundamentals
• Ability to read and interpret technical plans
• Professional presentation and strong communication skills
• White Card
• Current Queensland Driver Licence
• Security Licence (or willingness to obtain)
Desirable experience with:
• NX Witness
• Hikvision
• Inner Range
• Paxton
• Gallagher
• Cloud-managed security platforms
