About the Role:
This is a great FIFO opportunity to work at one of Queensland’s largest Gold Mine at a Power Station. You will perform assembly, testing, repairs and maintenance to plant and equipment on site. This would be a 2/2 roster, travel from Brisbane or Carins, meals and accommodation are provided. This is a fixed-term role, currently expected to run through to end of 2026.

Key Responsibilities:
• Undertaking maintenance & repair of equipment
• Ensuring delivery schedules are met in a timely manner
• Performing engine diagnosis, mechanical repairs and servicing
• Inspections and assessments of fleet for damage, ensuring the assessment includes scope of repairs and parts
• Accurate recording of servicing information and other documentation relevant to the role
• Connection and testing of pumping equipment
• Mine site dewatering
• Undertake servicing, installs and repairs in the field
• Delivering excellent customer service and championing the NPE brand whilst on site
Skills and Experience:
Essential:
• Current C-Class Drivers Licence
• Relevant Trade Certification – Mechanical or Mechanical Fitting
• Undertaking maintenance & repair of equipment
• Be the on-site conduct for effective customer relations and support
• Intra and interstate travel may be required
• Ability to work unsupervised
Desirable:
• Experience in the Rental, Mining, Construction or Heavy industries
• Diesel engine and mechanical maintenance and repairs
