Summary:

The Assistant Project Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the planning, execution, and completion of manufacturing projects at our Ben Buckler facility. This position is essential for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with our quality standards. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers and cross-functional teams to facilitate communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Monitor project progress and report on status to senior management.
  • Facilitate meetings and document project discussions and decisions.
  • Support risk management efforts by identifying potential issues and proposing solutions.
  • Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the preparation of project reports and presentations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Previous internship experience in project management or manufacturing, demonstrating exposure to project lifecycles.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain basics.
