### Responsibilities:

– Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering professionals to design and develop structural systems for educational facilities.

– Conduct structural analysis and design calculations to ensure safety, stability, and performance of structures.

– Review and interpret engineering plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

– Prepare technical reports, drawings, and documentation for project presentation and approvals.

– Participate in on-site inspections and assessments to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to engineered specifications.

– Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and project schedules.

– Stay updated with industry trends, design software, and regulatory requirements relevant to structural engineering.

– Provide technical support and mentorship to junior engineers and interns.

– Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide expert guidance.

### Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.

– Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or similar certification is preferred.

– Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably within the education and training sector.

– Proficient in structural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SAP2000, STAAD Pro, or similar).

– Strong understanding of Australian structural codes and standards.

– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

– Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.

– Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
