Job Title: Senior Systems Analyst
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Systems Analyst to join our forward-thinking global logistics company. As a Senior Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for managing both technology and business/operational projects within the logistics domain. Your primary focus will be on analyzing systems requirements, designing efficient solutions, and ensuring the successful implementation of new systems or enhancements to existing systems.
Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze system requirements for logistics projects.
– Design innovative solutions that meet business needs while considering technical feasibility and scalability.
– Create detailed functional specifications, including system workflows, data flow diagrams, and user interface designs.
– Coordinate with development teams to ensure accurate translation of specifications into working software.
– Conduct thorough testing of developed systems or enhancements to ensure functionality meets requirements.
– Provide support during system deployments by assisting in training end-users and addressing any technical issues that arise.
– Monitor system performance post-deployment, identifying areas for improvement or optimization.
Skills:
– Strong analytical skills with the ability to effectively gather and interpret complex data from multiple sources.
– Proficient in translating business requirements into detailed functional specifications for development teams.
– Extensive experience in project management methodologies, including Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.
– Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) processes and best practices.
– Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
Qualifications:
-Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Systems Analyst or similar role within the logistics industry is required; preferably 3+ years’ experience
-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred
-Demonstrated knowledge of logistics operations processes
-Familiarity with enterprise-level applications such as Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), or Order Management Systems (OMS)
-Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
-Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
